After practicing general and restorative dentistry for many years and seeing patients struggle with their sleep, Dr. Kwolek now focuses on snoring and sleep apnea treatment. She has achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine.
During the COVID-19 shutdown, Dr. Kwolek organized a CPAP recycling event, collecting CPAP machines that were no longer being used, and donated them to two organizations. One group repurposed various parts of the machines to be used as air purifying respirators for healthcare workers. The other company refurbished and distributed them worldwide for patient use.
Drs. Kwolek and Kushner met in a group for sleep and TMD dentistry. Dr. Kwolek was so impressed with Dr. Kushner and her practice that she moved from CT to the WA to join her. She enjoys working with Dr. Kushner and her amazing staff to help patients improve their health through better sleep.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Dr. Kwolek loves exploring and experiencing the beautiful state of WA. She also appreciates quiet time practicing yoga or in the company of a good book.
