Josy began work in the dental field in 1997. She worked for a dentist in Virginia for 5 years, before she moved with her family to the Pacific Northwest in 2002. She began work for Dr. Barrett as his book keper and account’s manager for 14 years and has been his office manager since 2013. Josy looks forward to working with both Dr. Barrett and Dr. Kushner.
Josy has 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Prior to her work with Dr. Barrett, Josy supported her husband during his Naval career of 24 years and was a store manager for McDonalds for 20 years.
LINDSAY – FRONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
I began working for Dr. Kushner in the fall of 2019 after moving to the area from Eastern Washington. I have worked in the medical field for the past 5 years and love watching patients succeed on their path to healthy living. I have 5 kids and 4 grandbabies. My favorite thing in the world is spending time with my family. A close second is traveling and a cold strawberry margarita!
SUSAN – TREATMENT COORDINATOR
Susan joined the practice in 2014. She had a desire to ensure that every patient receives excellent care in a comfortable and professional environment. She has participated in Kitsap County dentistry for over 30 years and is also a licensed insurance agent, and works with her husband in his agency.
In her free time, Susan enjoys family, friends, gardening, and anything that includes the outdoors.
JESSIKA – INSURANCE COORDINATOR
Jessika joined our team in May of 2022. She was born and raised in the PNW. She graduated from Everest College on the Dean’s List after studying insurance billing and coding. Jessika comes with over 10 years of experience in the medical field. She “specializes” in speaking the insurance language and collecting documents. In her spare time, she enjoys working on art projects and caring for her many cats.
NANCY – DENTAL ASSISTANT
Nancy started working for Dr. Barrett in 1996 and worked with him for 16 years before taking a leave of absence. She has since rejoined the team in May 2019. She feels so fortunate to work for a caring and knowledgeable doctor such as Dr. Kushner. “Our team is one of a kind! I love working with my coworkers as they are all experts in their jobs and truly go above and beyond for our patients”. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors gardening, hiking, camping and boating. She has been married for 36 years and has a wonderful daughter who has recently graduated with her Masters in Environmental Science.
VICTORIA – DENTAL ASSISTANT
Victoria joined our team in March of 2021 & specializes in our sleep division of our clinic. She is a Kitsap County native who has spent 8 years in dental. Her commitment and compassion for her patients is unparalleled. On the weekends you can find her outside whether she is kicked back on the beach or running her jeep through the trails, getting dirty.
KRISTIN – CLINICAL ASSISTANT
Kristin joined our team in May 2022. She is a Kitsap County native that spent several years living in Hawaii and New York before settling back home. She has been in the medical field for 16 years. She excels in patient care and is eager and ready to learn as much as she can. In her spare time, she loves traveling, spending time with her twin boys and listening to her favorite true crime podcasts.
